I designed T4LIFE based on African vibes and energy, incorporating its positive work and impact. From the beginning, I approached the project as someone who wanted to contribute to the company's mission of helping girls in Uganda achieve their goals in sports. I also considered how the founders want to be represented and spoken about.

When selecting images, colors, and design elements, I focused on the continuity of T4LIFE's projects beyond a single country or location. I avoided limiting the design to specific national colors or traditionally feminine tones, ensuring a more inclusive and adaptable approach. This allows for greater flexibility and representation, making it easier to expand and evolve.

Design Concept:

I designed the logo to capture the energy and motivation of young girls while also resonating with donors. The dynamic design conveys a sense of movement and inspiration, encouraging people to be part of the cause. The logo is influenced by the structure of a basketball court and features a warm African color palette. I chose a bold font to symbolize strength and impact, while the soft, curved edges add a feminine and modern touch.

Moodboard

The mood board captures the essence of youth, empowerment, and authenticity with a fresh, bold, and dynamic approach. In addition to the mentioned elements, I incorporated a handwritten bold font for special emphasis, adding impact to key words. The icons and hand-drawn images bring a playful, energetic, and youthful vibe, while AI-enhanced images ensure high quality and clarity. The overall theme is designed to evoke a natural, human, and emotionally touching feel, creating a deep connection with the audience.

Brand Conclusion

T4L brand is a vibrant celebration of strength, empowerment, and youthful energy, designed to inspire and connect. Rooted in the spirit of African girls and their love for basketball, our visual identity reflects resilience, passion, and community. The bold yet curvy typography balances power with a modern, feminine touch, while the warm color palette evokes warmth, motivation, and inclusivity.

Hand-drawn elements and AI-enhanced imagery bring authenticity and depth, creating a brand that feels natural, human, and emotionally resonant. Through our design, we ignite energy that not only inspires but invites others to be part of the movement, fueling its growth and impact.

Website Design and Research

As part of my research, I explored websites with a similar design aesthetic and vibe, focusing on brands that emphasize empowerment, community, and social impact. I analyzed platforms that successfully blend bold visuals with authenticity, using vibrant color palettes, modern yet approachable typography, and dynamic imagery to create an engaging user experience. This helped me understand the best practices for conveying energy and motivation while maintaining a professional and trustworthy appeal.

For potential users, I identified key personas:

  • Donors & Supporters – Individuals who resonate with our mission and want to contribute to empowering young African girls through basketball. They seek transparency, emotional connection, and a sense of belonging to a movement that drives real impact.

  • Partners & Collaborators – Organizations, brands, and individuals looking to support or work with us. They value strong brand identity, credibility, and shared values, seeking meaningful collaborations that align with their mission.

  • Community & Beneficiaries – Young girls, coaches, and mentors who engage with our platform for inspiration, resources, and opportunities to grow. The design needs to be uplifting, relatable, and easy to navigate for them.

By analyzing these elements, I crafted a website experience that speaks to each of these groups, ensuring they feel inspired, welcomed, and motivated to take action.

Wireframe

Jane, 54

Location: New York, USA

Background: Jane is a successful marketing professional with a passion for social impact. She believes in empowering young girls through sports and education. She regularly donates to causes related to gender equality, education, and youth development.

Goals & Motivations:

  • Wants to support underprivileged girls in sports.

  • Prefers transparent, trustworthy donation platforms.

  • Needs an easy and engaging way to contribute.

Challenges:

  • Concerned about how her donations will be used.

  • Wants to see real impact stories before donating.

  • Needs a quick and seamless donation process.

The wireframes I designed are based on the information provided in the document, with some enhancements for better flow and clarity.

I shifted the priorities slightly, making the home page a storytelling hub that highlights who we are, our history, and the impact we’ve had through the stories of the girls we support. I included a brief introductory video, with a more in-depth 20-minute documentary later on for those who want to dive deeper into our mission.

To make the organization's journey more transparent, I incorporated a timeline section on the home page, making it visually engaging and easy to understand. Additionally, I included a space to showcase the names of our donors at the end of the page to express gratitude, with the option for donors to choose whether they'd like their names featured on the website during the payment process.

Final Design

The web UI design reflects the vibrant energy and positive vibe that inspires visitors to become part of the mission, nurturing it and fueling its growth.

I focused on creating a dynamic and engaging interface that captures the essence of empowerment, strength, and community.

The design features bold, modern typography and a warm African color palette that resonates with the youthful energy of the girls we support. Clean lines, intuitive navigation, and a mix of hand-drawn icons and images add a fresh, personal touch that makes the site feel human-centered and approachable.

The overall experience is visually stimulating, easy to navigate, and fosters a sense of belonging, encouraging users to get involved and contribute to the cause.
